The short version: HouseChronicle stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your information.
HouseChronicle does not collect any personal information. All data you enter into the app, including maintenance records, photos, costs, notes, and property details, is stored exclusively on your device using a local database.
We do not operate any servers, APIs, or cloud services. Your data never leaves your device.
Photos you attach to maintenance records are saved locally in the app's private storage on your device. Photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or accessible to anyone other than you.
The app requests camera and photo library permissions only when you choose to attach a photo to a record.
HouseChronicle may request permission to send local notifications for maintenance reminders. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
HouseChronicle does not include any analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs that collect user data. We do not use cookies, device fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology.
HouseChronicle offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock premium features. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.

All app data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. Data is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.
HouseChronicle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
