Get help with ChangeDay, the shared reminder app for recurring care routines.
Open Settings, then "Shared connection". Tap "Invite another person" to send a CloudKit sharing invitation through Messages, Mail, or any other share sheet option. The recipient must have ChangeDay installed and accept the invitation with their own Apple ID. Once accepted, both phones see the same data.
ChangeDay is designed for two people. CloudKit Sharing supports more participants in principle, but the app is intentionally scoped to a small shared household.
CloudKit sync is normally fast but is not instantaneous. If an update is delayed:
ChangeDay uses standard iOS local notifications. If reminders are not appearing:
Notifications are scheduled per device. Each phone schedules its own reminders based on the synced data.
Your data remains on your device. Sync pauses until you sign back in. Once you sign in again, the app reconnects automatically.
Yes. The app works locally without iCloud. Sync and sharing become available once you sign into iCloud.
No. ChangeDay is a reminder and history tool. It does not provide medical advice, dosing guidance, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always follow guidance from your clinician and any device manufacturer whose products you use. See our Terms of Service.
Open Settings → Shared connection and tap "Manage sharing". From there you can remove participants or stop sharing entirely. Stopping a share does not delete history; it only ends the live connection.
