Open PetChronicle, tap the Settings tab, then tap "Restore Purchase". Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Premium features will unlock automatically.
PetChronicle stores all data locally on your device. To create a backup, open Settings and tap "Backup". This generates a JSON file you can save to iCloud Drive, Files, or share via AirDrop.
To restore from a backup on the same or a new device, tap Settings, then "Restore from Backup", and select your backup file.
Yes. Open Settings and tap "Export PDF" to generate a vet-ready report covering medications, vaccines, weight history, and vet visits. You can export for a single pet or all pets at once. PDF export is a premium feature.
The free tier allows 1 pet and 1 medication. When you reach the limit, the paywall appears and offers a one-time $4.99 purchase to unlock unlimited pets, unlimited medications, PDF export, and all future v1.x updates. There is no subscription.
PetChronicle uses standard iOS local notifications for dose reminders, refill alerts, vaccine due dates, and vet follow-up reminders. If reminders are not appearing, check that notifications are enabled for PetChronicle in the iOS Settings app under Notifications. Also verify the reminder schedule is configured correctly on the medication or record.
Yes. All your pet records, photos, and notes are stored locally on your device in a private database. PetChronicle does not run any servers, does not sync to the cloud, and does not include analytics or tracking. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
